[He... He tried to smile. All he wanted to do was hug Suzaku again.]

[He blinks at that. No one has ever declared himself his best friend before. Not ever.

He's not sure what to say, or do. He just looks at him.] Thank you Blues...

[Blues nods in approval. It was accepted.]

I don't think it needs to be thanked. It is how we are.

I guess... [It feels like something he should thank him for. But he just nods, still stood awkwardly.] Um... I guess that was all I came over for. To see how you were doing.

[red_song]

[No! His little robot emotions say he can't lose Suzaku yet. He almost reaches out to stop Suzaku. Hand even comes up part way. Before he drops it down.

He shouldn't be needy. And yet... Hadn't Bucky said it was right for him to expect things too?]

Please, I... I could use some company.

[swordofzero]

Of course. [He sees that arm and he doesn't move, not away and not closer. Still awkward.

But it's clear that Blues needs some company and he isn't ready to be left alone so soon.]

May I come in?

[Of course he could come in. Proto moves aside and gestures to the room.]

You are always welcome.

[swordofzero]

Thank you. [He steps in. ] Did you want to do something. Play a game? Or watch a film? [What do friends do? He has so little experience in any of this.]

A game?

[In all this time here, he has never actually played a game. In fact, he didn't even know what they would entail.]

Do you know any. I don't know many but we can play one if you wish, they are often a distraction. [And that might be what Blues needs right now.]

[red_song]

No. I was never taught any games in my time. I haven't learned any here.

[For all that he was made to be young, he'd never truly had a youth.]

I know movies, a little. I was gifted some. Most of them are about machines rising to dominance over humanity.

Ah. I don't know many movies. We can watch one if you wish? [Even if it was about machines rising to dominance. Did Blues like those movies, or were they what had been deemed appropriate?]

Honestly I don't know that many games either. Just a couple I learned here and a few I remember from being a child.

[They had been given to him ironically actually. And he had loved them.]

Are we... Pathetic for not knowing these things?

[Clearly someone had been thinking about stuff lately.]

Perhaps. [It probably won't make Blues feel better.]

But I think it is more so that we both come from places of war. There was no space for such things in our past.

My father never allowed for such things.

[Proto sighs.]

I suppose it will need to be a movie. Terminator is my favorite so far.

[swordofzero]

I haven't seen that one. [Or heard of it at all. But if it was Blues' favourite he would happily watch it with him.]

[red_song]

It does not work out well for all the humans. Can you accept this?

That's fine. I would not expect it to. [In his world the only robots are those piloted by humans and still it is no fight at all, for a knightmare frame to battle a human without one.]

[red_song]

Alright then, come on.

[Proto is glad for the company too, getting to watch his favorite movie. Not that he's seen more than three.]

It is nice, to think of the freedom I could get if something like hte movie happened.

[He followed him over, ready to watch the film. It was good that Blues had this at least. Something to imagine, something to show him how things could be better for him.]

[Oh, hardly better, given the plot of the movie. But he pops it into the player attached to the television, flops onto the couch, and looks relaxed.]

This is a more enjoyable means of intaking data.

[He will probably rapidly change his opinion on how good it is for Blues as he actually sees it. But for now he sits next to him and watches as the film starts.]

It is. [Though sitting and watching a film wasn't something he had done much of in the past. Always too much to do.]

[Perhaps Suzaku might even tell him about the change, and tell Proto. He might need to hear it.]

I used to be able to interface with data systems, when I was first created. This is more like downloading data.

[swordofzero]

Interface with them? To get the data directly from them? [Wouldn't that be just like downloading. Or is that what Blues means, that this feels like that.]

There is more... sharing back in forth with interfacing.

[It's just like that. He can't even begin to explain the difference to Suzaku. It's a sensation a human cannot experience.]
